Abbaye beer yeast
LalBrew Abbaye™ – a Belgian origin ale yeast. Selected for its ability to ferment a variety of Belgian-style beers of different strengths, LalBrew Abbaye™ produces the spiciness and fruitiness characteristic of Belgian and Trappist-style ales. Fermentation at higher temperatures produces tropical, spicy, and banana aromas and flavors. At lower temperatures, LalBrew Abbaye™ brings out dark fruit aromas and flavors – raisins, dates, and figs. Traditional styles brewed with this yeast (among others): Belgian White, Belgian Blonde, Belgian Golden, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quad.
