Lallemand CBC-1 Dry Beer Yeast

LalBrew CBC-1™ was specifically selected from the Lallemand yeast culture collection for cask and bottle conditioning due to its high resistance to alcohol and pressure. LalBrew CBC-1™ has a neutral flavor profile and does not metabolize maltotriose, thus preserving the original character of the beer after re-fermentation. The yeast settles and forms a dense layer at the bottom of the bottle or cask. LalBrew CBC-1™ is also an ideal strain for the primary fermentation of dry ciders, meads, and hard seltzers. For the fermentation of simple sugars with proper yeast nutrition, LalBrew CBC-1™ ensures high attenuation with a clean and neutral flavor profile.

Fermentation Temperature: 20-30°C
Alcohol Tolerance: 12-14% ABV for cask and bottle carbonation and conditioning.
Alcohol Tolerance: 18% ABV for cider and mead.
