BV AROMAZYME™ is a food-grade enzyme preparation with strong glycosidase activity, derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger. It is composed of β-glucosidase enzymes, which hydrolyze glycosidic bonds, releasing monoterpene alcohol compounds and glucose. It is designed to enhance the complexity of hop aroma and flavor profiles in beer. By using ABV AROMAZYME™ during fermentation, brewers can improve hop utilization, releasing additional volatile aromatic compounds, thereby reducing the overall hop quantity or using less refined hop varieties.

    The recommended dosage is 5 g/hL.

    Dissolve the enzyme in a sufficient amount of water (~1g/10ml water) to ensure even distribution in the fermenter. Add during the initial or middle phase of fermentation (while the yeast is active).
