"Superdelic™ is a triploid hop variety, bred in New Zealand in 2012 and commercially released in 2023. It offers complex aromas of tropical fruit, stone fruit, berries, and candy. These hops have a high oil content, especially high levels of myrcene and farnesene, which contribute to their distinct, intense aroma. This characteristic makes them perfect for aromatic hopping of beer, especially when brewing styles such as IPA, Pale Ale, Hazy IPA or New England IPA. Superdelic can also be used for bittering, although their primary purpose is to impart a unique aroma and flavor to beer. They pair well with Citra, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka.
