Roasted barley is a typical ingredient in dry Irish stout. Although the color specification is very similar to black malt, roasted barley has an intense roasted coffee flavor that gives a deep, dark color and a corresponding taste.
Used in Irish Stout, Imperial Stout, and other dark beer styles. Up to 5%
