When brewing beer from malt and with a large amount of wheat, oats, rye, or other huskless grains, the filter bed can easily become clogged, making lautering very difficult. Rice hulls are an ideal solution to prevent filter clogging and reduced efficiency.

Use up to 5% of the total malt weight.
