Pacifica is best known for its aromatic properties. It is moderately low in cohumulone and higher in carophyllene, which gives it a savory and decidedly floral aroma. There are also notes of citrus fruits, and it is said that the aroma used in the late cooking stage gives the aroma of oranges.
