Malted Rye gives beer a spicy, characteristic rye flavor. It adds a unique taste, gives the beer fullness and a good mouthfeel. In addition to its traditional use in Rye Beers, malted rye is also excellent in hoppy beer styles, where its spiciness complements the citrus hop flavor.
Up to 20%, or as desired. If more than 20% is used, rice husks are recommended to aid filtration.
