In 1968, Coopers brewed their first lager-type beer, named "Golden Crown". It was a subtle, less sweet Dortmunder-type beer that achieved enormous success and heralded a new era in the brewery's history.

Following Maxwell Cooper's original recipe, this drink features classic characteristics: a deep golden hue and a robust "malty body". Refreshingly bitter, with a long-lasting fruity aroma – this golden lager is crowned with a dense, firm head.
