Campden
Campden - potassium metabisulfate
Powder. Composition: potassium metabisulphite. It is used to prevent juice/wine/beer oxidation, to kill wild fruit yeast and to stop the fermentation process. Dosage: to sterilize must/wine: 1 g/10 l. Dosage when sterilizing equipment: 1-2 g/l of water (+ citric acid 0.5 g/l).
WARNING: Always use sulfite with acid when disinfecting materials!
