American Pale Ale (APA) with American Amarillo hops. SMASH is an abbreviation for Single Malt And Single Hop. This is a single malt and single hop beer kit. "Amarillo" hops give the beer a distinct floral, spicy, tropical, and citrus flavor and aroma. The citrus aftertaste is reminiscent of oranges and lemons, similar to "Cascade" hops, but much more intense. Other aroma descriptions include grapefruit, melons, apricots, and peaches.
