Full concave drainage base
The new base design completely drains the water, allowing you to collect every drop of wort. No more tilting the brewery to extract all the wort. This also makes it suitable for CIP cleaning using our new low-volume CIP spray rotor (KL04329).
False bottom pump protective screen
One of the key features of all BrewZilla all-in-one units is the false bottom protective screen. This screen helps prevent blockages, filters the wort, and prevents more than 95% of hops and trub from being sucked into the pump, greatly reducing the problems of clogged pumps often associated with other brewery designs.
Ultra Efficient
BrewZilla has a significantly lower watt density than other breweries. The main advantage of lower watt density is that it allows for the production of lighter-colored beers that might otherwise caramelize slightly. Ultra-low watt density also means there is a lower chance of boil-overs, less crud sticking to the element, making it easier to clean, and ultimately less wear on the element, so your elements will last longer even with heavy use.
RAPT/Wifi Connected
The new Gen 4 model is the first BrewZilla to connect to the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/). This portal allows you to monitor, record, and observe your brewing process online. This significantly reduces the need for manual brewing day records, as all of this is done automatically. The RAPT portal also allows you to see every previous brew and control the brewery remotely, so you can remotely start pre-heating water or simply monitor the brewing process while you're doing something else. Get push notifications on your mobile phone for when to add hops or start brewing. Along with this easy access and control, RAPT BrewZilla will also allow you to fully customize your brew day with profiles tailored specifically to your brewing style or recipe.
For example, you can set up your profile to send you specific alarms or notifications when you need to do something. E.g., add grain when a set temperature is reached. Add salt/hops when boiling temperature is reached. Also, instructions for hop stand additions or chilling. All of this is done with a single button press, pre-programmed the way you want it. No egg timers, no phone timers. Everything is controlled in one area.
Improved piping and electronics design
The new base design means we have enclosed all the electronics at the bottom of the brewery in a separate junction box. This has allowed us to eliminate the bottom cover. This significant design change means that the pump is much more accessible. It also means that the plumbing can be replaced more easily. For example, the pump can be reconfigured to pump to the plumbing outlet, or it can be modified so that the plumbing outlet bypasses the pump. These changes make the pump more flexible, but also much easier to disassemble, clean, and maintain if necessary.
RAPT Controller with full on-screen control
The new RAPT controller features an easy-to-read color display. The controller can also be easily disconnected, making it easier to rinse. The controller is mounted in a higher position with a tilting bezel, so you can turn the screen towards you, depending on your height. The new controller module is packed with features, and KegLand constantly updates the software to include more functions. Software updates are quick and painless, so with a single click, you can update all Gen 4 devices to the latest software for new features and additions. Forget kneeling in the middle of a brew, do everything standing or sitting next to your BrewZilla. The controller can also activate the pump. This means there are no switches on the BrewZilla Gen 4 unit.
Two Stage Oversized Malt Pipe
This new malt basket design is 30% larger, allowing you to mash more malt and produce more beer or stronger beer. The new malt basket also has two-stage height adjustment, so you can manually lift half of the malt basket and set it on the support halo ring halfway. This is more ergonomic as the heavy malt basket can be lifted in two stages, but it also has the added benefit of making the brewery more suitable for smaller batches where it is better to lift the malt basket halfway.
