If you want to produce under pressure, we offer a wide range of Overpressure Valves.

Quickly; The "overpressure" valve helps to maintain the pressure inside the container and not exceed it. For example, if you pressured the vessel to 15 psi, then attached a fill valve, you could set the pressure below 15 psi to ferment.

We do not recommend using a pressure relief valve (PRV) as a relief valve for the KL29438

This kit comes with a bubbler for when you can't ferment under pressure and use the bubbler to ferment, then replace the cap with a red carbonation cap and pressurize your brew into kegs, bottles or cans.
