Mini design - ideal flow rate for small systems
Most standard beer faucets have a 10 mm diameter nozzle and spout, allowing a pint of beer to be poured in 10 seconds. Such a flow rate is great for high-turnover bars and commercial venues, but such a high flow rate is not necessary or desirable for all applications. In compact portable systems or homebrew dispensing systems, a slower flow rate makes it easier to control the pour and further reduce foaming problems due to the small amount of liquid held in the faucet body.
