FWK Creative IPA - Fresh Wort Kit
FWK Creative IPA! Here's your chance to create your own IPA, APA, IPL, or anything else, based on prepared wort. You choose what to do next: dry hopping, yeast, and any creative tricks. We encourage experimentation!
Please note: yeast and dry hopping hops are not included – please order separately.
The wort is brewed from:
- 90% Pilsner malt

The possibilities for experimentation are endless! Here are some ideas:
- Hops: add extra dry hops for aroma
- Sour? Use Philly Sour yeast
- Low-carb? Add Amigase for full fermentation
- Gluten-free? Add Brewer's Clarex
- Stronger? Don't dilute with water or add fermentable sugar (malt extract, etc.)
- Lactose – provides smoothness and sweetness
- Other additives: oak, coffee, spices, orange peel, fruit puree, cocoa nibs, etc.
Hop and yeast suggestions: While we encourage experiments, here are some specific ideas:
- American IPA with a fresh citrus aroma: 100g Citra dry hops after 5 days + 2 packets Lalbrew Verdant IPA
- Tropical twist? Choose Galaxy or Nectaron
- Classic old-school aroma? Columbus, Chinook, Centennial
FWK Creative is perfect for using up leftover hops! Read about the aroma each hop provides – choose what sounds delicious. It's fun, and new combinations often surprise!
General carbonation recommendations:
- In bottles: 6g sugar/L beer, carbonate at 20–25°C for about 14 days, then store cool.
- In a keg: CO₂ volume – about 2.5
⚠️ OXIDATION – avoid it like the plague! Oxidation occurs when beer comes into contact with oxygen after fermentation has started. Especially sensitive: NEIPA, IPA, West Coast IPA. Can cause off-flavors and shorten shelf life.
