The new Kegland BrewZilla Generation 4.0 is designed as a compact brewing device that can be used from a single 16 A 220-240 V electrical outlet.
With the integrated RAPT control system connected to WIFI, you can set profiles, delay heating, control remotely and much more. This device is ideal for those who want to take a step into the process of brewing beer from malt and at the same time want to have full control of the batch from start to finish.
Some features that set this brewery apart from other brewery designs:
Fully concave drainage base
The new base design drains water completely, so you can collect every bit of wort. You no longer have to tilt the brewhouse to dispense all the wort. This makes it also suitable for CIP cleaning using our new low-volume CIP spray rotor (KL04329).
False bottom pump protective screen
One of the key features of all BrewZilla single vessel units is the false bottom safety screen. This screen helps prevent boil-overs, filters the wort, and prevents over 95% of hops and hot break from being sucked into the pump, greatly reducing the clogged pump problems that are often encountered with other brewer designs.
Ultra-low watt density
The BrewZilla has a much lower wattage than other brewers. The main advantage of the lower wattage is that it allows you to brew lighter colored beers that would otherwise caramelize a bit. The ultra-low wattage also means there is less chance of boil-over, less dirt sticks to the element, making it easier to clean, and ultimately, there is less wear on the element, so even with heavy use, your elements will last much longer.
RAPT/Wifi
The new 4th generation model is the first BrewZilla to connect to the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/). This portal allows you to monitor, record and track your brewing process online. This greatly reduces the need to manually write down your brewing day, as it is all done automatically. The RAPT portal also allows you to see every brew you have previously done and control your brewer remotely, so you can remotely start pre-heating water or simply monitor the brewing process while you are busy with something else. Receive push notifications on your mobile phone when it is time to add hops or start boiling.
Along with this easy access and control, the RAPT BrewZilla will also allow you to fully customize your brewing day with profiles tailored specifically to your brewing style or recipe.
For example, you can set your profile to receive certain alarms or notifications when something needs to be done. For example, adding grains when brewing temperature is reached. Adding salt/hops when you have reached brewing temperature. Also instructions for refilling or cooling the hop rack. All of this is done with the push of a button that is pre-programmed just the way you want it. No egg timers, no phone timers. Everything is controlled in one place.
