The new Kegland BrewZilla Generation 4.0 is designed as a compact brewing unit that can be operated from a single 16 A 220-240 V power outlet.
With an integrated RAPT control system connected to WIFI, you can set profiles, delay heating, control remotely, and much more. This device is ideal for those who want to take a step into the all-grain brewing process and also want complete control of the batch from start to finish.
Some features that distinguish this brewery from other brewery designs:
Fully Concave Draining Base
The new base design completely drains the water, allowing you to collect every bit of wort. You no longer need to tilt the brewery to pour out all the wort. This also makes it suitable for CIP cleaning using our new low-volume CIP spray rotor (KL04329).
False Bottom Pump Protection Screen
One of the main features of all BrewZilla single-vessel units is the false bottom protection screen. This screen helps prevent boil-overs, filters the wort, and prevents more than 95% of hops and hot break from being sucked into the pump, greatly reducing clogged pump problems common with other brewery designs.
Ultra-Low Watt Density
The BrewZilla has a significantly lower watt density than other breweries. The main advantage of lower watt density is that it allows for brewing lighter colored beers that would otherwise caramelize slightly. Ultra-low watt density also means there is a lower chance of scorching, less gunk sticking to the element, making it easier to clean, and ultimately less wear and tear on the element, so even with heavy use, your elements will last significantly longer.
RAPT/Wifi
The new 4th generation model is the first BrewZilla to connect to the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/). On this portal, you can monitor, record, and track your brewing process online. This greatly reduces the need to manually write brewing logs, as it is all done automatically. The RAPT portal also allows you to view every previous brew and control the brewery remotely, so you can remotely start pre-heating water or simply monitor the brewing process while you are doing something else. Get push notifications on your mobile phone for when to add hops or start brewing.
Along with this easy access and control, RAPT BrewZilla will also allow you to fully customize your brew day with profiles specifically tailored to your brewing style or recipe.
For example, you can set up your profile to receive specific alarms or notifications when something needs to be done. For example, adding grains when mash-in temperature is reached. Adding salt/hops when you've reached boil temperature. Also, instructions for hop stand additions or chilling. All of this is done at the push of a button, pre-programmed exactly as you want it. No egg timers, no phone timers. Everything is controlled in one area.
