Fermzilla 30L - All Rounder
FermZilla All Rounder Pressure Fermenter/Keg
1 x fermzilla tank
1 x stainless steel handle
1 x stainless steel stand
1 x Airock
1 x pressure lid
1 x temperature sticker
1 x red 2.5 bar pressure relief valve
1 x graduation sticker
This fermenter is made of ultra-smooth PET, making it easy to clean. Just use a small scoop "PBW" and wipe it off after soaking for 5 minutes. No need to scrub.
Large 120 mm opening
The opening at the top is much larger than the older Snub Nose or other similar fermenters. This bad boy has a 120mm opening, so even brewers with large hands can easily access the top, making cleaning even easier.
Rated pressure
This fermenter has a pressure of up to 2.5 bar, allowing you to force carbonate like in a keg. You can use this fermenter for closed transfer and significantly reduce the exposure to oxygen.
Crystal clear
The walls of the All Rounder fermenter are crystal clear, so you can see what's going on inside. This makes it very easy to visually determine how fermentation is progressing, how the yeast is flocculating, etc.
Impermeable
PET plastic is not as permeable as some other fermenters made of PP or HDPE. The fermenter wall is a much better gas barrier, so the product stays fresher longer.
Does not transfer taste and aroma
Other HDPE fermentation containers tend to be so porous that they transfer flavor and aroma from one batch to the next.
Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure test to ensure that your connections are tight. To do this. Fill the FermZilla vessel with water, then apply a minimum of 15 kPa of pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all caps/threads.
Sometimes these units may have small dents/dents/dentations that have occurred during shipping, this is a reality of shipping large thin-walled blown containers. However, do not panic, these fermentation vessels are designed to withstand such small deformations. This was necessary to incorporate into the design so that they could withstand accidental suction caused by cold shocks and rough transportation without compromising their integrity and ability to withstand high pressure. All small dents are pushed out and settled with use and positive pressure, so they are a problem and are only a reason to replace them in the rare case that they start to show white stress patterns or they damage the plastic.
If you are going to do pressure fermentation, it is advisable to perform a pressure test to check if the Fermzilla tank is leak-proof.
Never fill the FermZilla fermenter with water above 55°C. Deformation may occur.
